My wife and I were talking tonight about her painting class at the University of Minnesota. She experienced a grueling day where her class critiqued each others painting for four hours. She noted that the class spent a lot of time interpreting each others' painting, but was also very interested in each individual painters' context of creating. Those comments are causing me to annotate my photos with some of my thoughts about them. Perhaps they will lend some insight or explanation that would otherwise by subjective to your (the viewer's) own interpretation. Please feel free to comment on what you think about them. Quite frankly, I've considered gathering items for a show, but I don't know if anything is good enough for that. Dunno.
