I bought a new camera for keeps.  After a lot of thinking and reading, I opted for the Canon 30D with the EF28 - 135 mm IS f/ 3.5 - 5.6 lens.  With the 1.6x sensor conversion factor, it gives me an effective 46 - 216 mm lens. I have a number of version that I have tweaked in Photoshop, but the original is still the best for me.  Shot in San Diego, we were returing from the beach after sunset.  I took the camera completely out of focus and shot this in available light.
